I’m Diedre Visagie, and I work as a Receptionist and Assistant for Dr Sarel Botha and Dr Brenden van Niekerk at Pretoria Maxillofacial. Our practice specialises in:

• Head Trauma
• Head and Neck Cancer care
• TMJ (jaw joint replacement surgery)
• Orthognathic Surgery (jaw alignment surgery)
• Dental implants
• Wisdom teeth removal

In my role, I’m dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring every interaction is positive and welcoming. I truly believe that a warm smile can go a long way in helping patients feel at ease.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about nature and love spending time outdoors with my family. These moments allow me to recharge and stay connected with the beauty around me, which reflects in my approach to work and life.

Benieta Snyman

I am Benieta Snyman; an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator in the field of maxillofacial and oral surgery, committed to supporting both patients and our clinical team with efficiency, empathy and professionalism. I take pride in creating a calm and organised environment, making sure every patient feels understood and every process runs smoothly. My role allows me to combine my passion for people with my strengths in coordination, communication, and detail-driven work.

Beyond the practice, I love staying active and taking care of my wellbeing. Whether I’m at the gym, enjoying a new workout challenge, or spending time outdoors, being active helps me stay energized and balanced. Fitness and nature inspire me, and I bring that same positive, driven mindset into my everyday work.

Althea Okhuysen

Hi, I’m Althea Okhuysen, and I manage the accounts for Dr Sarel Botha and Dr Brenden van Niekerk at Pretoria Maxillofacial. Together, they specialise in a range of advanced treatments, including:

• Oral Cancer

When I’m not ensuring the financial side of things runs smoothly, I’m a proud mum to a lively 6-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes! In my free time, I love reading, spinning, and spending cherished moments with family and friends.

It’s a privilege to contribute to a practice that transforms lives with exceptional care and expertise.

Isabel Meyer

My name is Isabel Meyer, and I was born and raised in this beautiful city of Pretoria.

I hold a qualification in Cost and Management Accounting, and I am deeply passionate about my work that aligns perfectly with my passion for precision and organization.

I have spent most of my career in the medical industry and feel incredibly privileged to have been part of this journey since opening of our practice up until now. 

Witnessing its growth and the profound impact our dedicated doctors have had on patients’ lives has been both inspiring and rewarding.

As the Practice Manager and Bookkeeper, I take pride in supporting our amazing team of doctors and staff, ensuring that every aspect of our work runs smoothly.  It’s an honor to contribute to a practice that not only thrives but also transforms lives.
